 Every so often a fairytale comes along. Catherine Middleton is one and Jamillah and David Lamb certainly are in one. This post is about the latter two, the Lambs, who fell in love at first sight and have since been inseparable. Their love has created a daughter, Kaira. He was born and raised in New York City. She in Chicago, Illinois. They both attended college in different cities. They graduated and each was hired by the same investment firm. She was part of the West Coast Firm and he was part of the East Coast firm. They had never met when David Lamb saw Jamillah's picture in a staff photo hanging on an office wall. Upon seeing her picture he said, "I'm going to marry that girl." The two were introduced at the company's California headquarters and instantly fell madly in love with one another.  I've often asked my mom how women hit 40 and come out in better health at 50. We laugh about it, but really! I want to know! Then Chicken Soup for Soul's Weight Loss and Fitness for Women Over 50 arrived and I discovered some wonderful and practical tips on weight management and fitness. Okay, so they're in a book for women over 50 (which is not me), however, good advice is good advice. Unlike other Chicken Soup for the Soul books, this book is a collaboration of an author, Dr. Suzanne Koven of Harvard Medical School, that has knowledge on the subject, who shares easy-to-implement tips to stay healthy . I enjoyed it and am working on implementing some of the advice. The book tackles menopause , creaky joins, busy life, and all the other obstacles that interfere with the quest for weight control and fitness.  I have yet to read Fifty Shades of Grey. I keep reading poor reviews, but it doesn't seem to stop this series from continuing to turn up the heat on people’s reading lives!  We read every night at our house.  It's my downtime with the kiddos. A time for us to go on magical adventures and just unwind.
