Her story is an incredible one. Folks didn't give her much thought at being successful, much less making it past her teens. She proved them wrong, becoming a successful businesswoman who is currently living her dream life. She grew up in a housing commission, without a mother, was sexually abused at the age of nine, lived in a shed at 14, became pregnant at 15. By 19 years old she was homeless with two babies and at 21 found herself in a violent relationship. She didn't give up, she went on to achieve her dreams.
“If you have dreamed of success in your life but can’t seem to pinpoint exactly what your goal is, this book is for you,” says Currie. “If you are powered by passion, all things are possible.”
Now 32, Currie defied the odds by following her passion. She is the mother of five children and lives in her dream home by the beach. She took her small business sign printing business, $100 of sales per month to $100,000 per month and earned her a nomination for Telstra Business Woman of the Year.
